1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using TEAMS FC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TEAMS FC is a soccer team management platform for players, parents, coaches and organizations. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• Scheduling games, practices and team meetings, with availability and RSVPs.
• Team, group and 1:1 messaging.
• Coach-assigned, at-home training session tracking (no media uploads required).
• Written player evaluations shared with the player and parent.
• Match-stat tracking on a per-player and per-team basis.
• Multi-team organization views for clubs and academies.
• Optional Team Premium subscriptions managed through Stripe.

3. User Accounts and Roles

3.1 Account Creation

• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
• Users under 18 require a linked parent or guardian account.

3.2 User Roles

• Players: Members of one or more soccer teams using the Service.
• Parents: Guardians of player accounts, with linked household access.
• Coaches: Run a team — manage roster, schedule, chat, training, evaluations and match stats.
• Organizations: Clubs or academies managing multiple teams and coaches.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Uses

• Use the Service for legitimate team management and player development.
• Communicate respectfully with teammates, coaches and parents.
• Provide constructive coaching feedback in evaluations and chat.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Post inappropriate, harassing, hateful or harmful content in chats, evaluations or any other field.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with a team, coach, club or organization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, teams or organizations.
• Use automated systems to access the Service without our written permission.
• Violate the intellectual property rights of TEAMS FC or third parties.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of content you create in the Service (chat messages, evaluations you author, match stats you log).
• You grant TEAMS FC a license to host, store and display your content as needed to operate the Service for you and the people on your team or organization.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, features and functionality, is owned by TEAMS FC.
• Our trademarks, logos and brand elements are protected intellectual property.
• You may not copy, modify or distribute our proprietary content without permission.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Free Plan

• The free plan includes every core feature for teams up to 12 players.
• The free plan may include advertising.

6.2 Team Premium

• Team Premium is an optional monthly subscription that removes the player cap and ads.
• Subscriptions are initiated by a team's coach inside the TEAMS FC app and processed by Stripe.
• Pricing is shown at checkout and is subject to change with notice.

6.3 Cancellations & Refunds

• You can cancel Team Premium from inside the app at any time. Premium access continues through the end of the current billing period; the team then drops to the free plan.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion and as required by applicable law. Contact us for refund requests.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy matters to us. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use and protect your information.

8. Safety and Child Protection

8.1 Minor Users

• Users under 18 must have a linked parent or guardian account.
• Parents can review and manage their child's account activity.
• Direct messaging access to minors is limited to coaches, teammates on the roster and the linked parent.
• Report any concern about a minor's safety to us immediately.

8.2 Reporting and Safety

• Report inappropriate behavior or content immediately through the Service or by email.
• We take safety reports seriously and investigate promptly.
• Users who violate safety policies may be removed or permanently banned.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Availability

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
• We are not responsible for injuries, accidents or losses that occur during in-person training or games.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TEAMS FC and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through app settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations for services already provided.

11.2 Effect of Termination

• Your access to the Service ends immediately.
• Your data is deleted or anonymized according to our data retention policy.
• Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication first. For formal disputes, we prefer binding arbitration over litigation where allowed by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
